Profile
Jack
manages projects with practiced coordination skills. Jack's experience
ranges from residential work to master planning, with an focus
on educational and cultural projects. In the office, Mr. Chaffin's
detailing and construction knowledge are often called upon in
the construction document phase of projects to assist in assembling
a thorough set of working drawings. Jack oversees the system administration
of the CADD software in the office and is particularly adept at
3-D modeling. He is a patient teacher and aids in educating interns
about the programs and changing technologies within the office.
Jack chairs the Design Committee for Federal Hill Main Street
, a revitalization program that assists in neighborhood design,
open space planning and stimulates commercial development. In
his free time, Jack continues the endless projects for the renovation
of his historic rowhouse. He also enjoys travel, reading early
20th century literature and practicing aikido, a Japanese form
of self-defense. |
