The new Student Services Center, currently under construction at the north end of campus and designed by RCG, will become the new heart of student activities for the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore campus. The prominent dome of this 150,000 sf facility will be the highest point and campus; providing a landmark and building identity on this traditional Georgian campus. The new Student Services Center will contain: 500 seat auditorium, a sub-dividable 12,000 sf ballroom, 800 seat student dining, separate faculty dining room, recreational center including a bowling alley, meeting rooms, snack bar, chapel, bookstore, student organization offices, lounges and a rotunda entrance lobby with sky lit dome above.
